A Sad Affair

Some flowers tell a story that is difficult to put into words.

For this floral tribute, I chose warm, deep red tones in the shape of a heart - as a final gesture for a warm person who has passed away.

I find floral tributes to be particularly personal.  Flowers can express something at such a moment that words sometimes cannot: affection, respect, remembrance, and connection.

A farewell arrangement therefore never has to be just "beautiful". It can say something about the person who is missed.  A favorite flower, a certain color, a season, a shape, or even a small memory can be the starting point for a very personal floral arrangement.

In this composition, I chose rich red and burgundy tones, complemented by special flowers, berries, greenery, and delicate textures.  The heart shape makes the gesture even more personal: love that remains, even when someone is no longer here.

At A Flower Affair, farewell floral arrangements are always composed with great care, tailored to the person, the memory, and the moment.

A Sad Affair, made with love.
